Two people were charged after a third man was shot during an alleged drug deal involving marijuana on Saluda Street in southern Rock Hill, according to statements from the police department. The wounded man had a gun then as shot when he tried to rob the two others, police said.

Around 12:10 a.m. on Nov. 3, officers responded to 1195 Saluda Street where they found a 21-year-old man on the ground who had been shot in the head. Police said the young man pulled out a gun and tried to rob both Boyd and Franklin, and Franklin pulled out his own firearm and shot the 21-year-old man, seriously injuring him.

The woman, who was shot in the head and head, survived and was transported to Piedmont Medical Center for treatment. The man, who was found in the vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds, was produced deceased at the scene, police said. The victims have not been identified at this time.
